Samsung Corby TXT - Cheap Mobilephone For Practical Users


Samsung releases their latest mobilephone with a full QWERTY keypad up front, aka a “Blackberry” influenced design”. It is the Samsung B3210 Corby TXT.

It's a totally different phone, in terms of features, from the Samsung Corby Pro. For one, it's not a touchscreen phone. The Samsung Corby TXT is more focused in messaging and practical use. It's probably a good mobilephone for kids and adults who likes to keep things simple and practical.

Design
The casing the design is the only similar factor on the Samsung Corby Text from the original one. It has the same curve and slim body as well as the yellow (changeable) detail on the back cover. The phone has a 112 x 59.6 x 12.9 mm size and only weighs 94 grams, easy to hold, keep and feels sturdy. Unlike the original which has a side slider opening mechanism to reveal its QWERTY keyboard, it has none. Instead, the QWERTY keyboard is situated on the front, much like a Blackberry design.

The Corby TXT has a 2.2 Inch 262k Colour TFT Screen displaying 176 x 144 pixels screen resolution. The screen display great detail on every image, from pictures, videos to its smooth seamless user interface even though it has a far less size than the original.

If its messaging and calling, you won't have any problems with the Samsung Corby TXT. The phone has Quad Band Technology, efficiently utilizing four frequencies (GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900) to further increase calling quality even between countries. This makes the Samsung Corby TXT an excellent phone to bring almost anywhere you go, depends on the network provider of course.

The phone supports SMS (Text Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging) and Email, no problem sending and receiving.

Camera

The Samsung Corby TXT is an excellent mobilephone for practical users, it has decent multimedia and an alright camera. The QWERTY keyboard is really a plus as it makes typing easier, however, not for people with big fingers though.
