Your Smartphone is going to get busier. Featuring Kweekies, a game for Smartphones which uses the latest technology, Augmented Reality.
Intro to the new technology:
Augmented Reality uses Video Camera and fuses computer graphics with real time footage. This basically means that the games you'll be playing uses the real time footage as a game background or rather the environment for the games. The AR technology automatically adds computer generated graphics onto the live video imagery.
Augmented Reality uses haptics, sounds, graphics etc to add information to the screen. It's like seeing a different view of the world with virtual elements that of course, could only happen on the Smartphone.
Now back to the game...
Game Story
The Kweekies are cute creatures living in a parallel universe. With the help of a Smartphone and a magic symbol acting as a portal the player will be able to see them walking on his desk. A playful kweeko may adopt the player and become his pet...
Gameplay
Aside from it's somewhat, perverted name... Kweekies is a very entertaining game made by a game company called int13. It's a virtual pet game and has a concept similar to Pokemon or Digimon. You take care of your pet or rather train them, aside from that you can do battle with other pets, computer controlled or player controlled. You can also compete online, win credits and unlock more goodies.
In the final release, there are 6 animals with 500 animations and you can pretty much customize the pet to an extent like changing its color, distributing skill attributes etc.
It's a cool game, worth to play and brag about.
If you want to see more Aumented Reality games, you should check out the website of the creators of this cool game, int13. Currently, this game can be played on Smartphones with Windows Mobile. You can buy them and download them easily through your Smartphones.
If you don't have a Smartphone and if you're interested in getting one, you can easily find them on the Internet. They also come with free line rental contract deals and maybe get a cheap mobile phone cashback deal with free Laptop. It's a good way to save money.

Another Social Network Focus Phone - HTC Hero

I don't really get why HTC named it “Hero” but... it's a good phone. It's the newest release by HTC, it's a smartphone that has lots of goodies to please any user who likes bits of features from every kind of mobile phone.
It has everything you need like multimedia, camera, calling ,messaging and video call. It has all the basic functions and you can customize the home page too. It's also an excellent phone for social networking, you can easily keep in touch with friends and family. Browsing experience is fast and lively as it can display full flash based websites.
If you're interested, have a look at the features in details.
The HTC Hero looks simple yet sleek, it retains it's unique HTC look. It has a 112 x 56.2 x 14.35 mm size, weighs quite heavy in 135 grams. The weight and size of the HTC Hero gives it a solid feel when you hold it. Its easy to navigate as the UI is very user friendly.
The phone has a big 3.2 inch 65k colour TFT LCD touch screen displaying 320 x 480 pixels. Although it's a lower quality compared to other HTC touchscreen phones, it is clear and bright when displaying pictures, playing movies etc. It's big and it displays clear images, watching videos or just viewing pictures is a pleasure especially when using its HTC Scene feature. This feature allows you to change themes to fit your personal aesthetic needs.
The HTC Hero boasts its HTC Sense User Interface. It utilizes its Multi Touch Input Method. This basically adds more usability as the menus and applications are easy to find. You won't have to jump from application to application, it's all in one place.
The HTC Hero has decent camera features capable of producing good quality pictures. It's got a nice 5 Megapixel Camera with Auto Focus functionality. While it's not that high end when you compare it with today's latest releases, it has great picture output quality and takes pictures like a pro. Although you need to get used to it's settings and learn to know lighting conditions to fully take advantage of its capabilities. Auto Focus is now more preferred as it removes the chore of manually zooming and focusing on the subject, just point and shoot.
Calling and messaging capabilities of the HTC Hero is great. It has a Quad Band frequency allowing good signals with-in network coverage but isn't so good in between countries. These are GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 frequencies and also HSDPA 900 and 2100 for Video Calling.
The HTC Hero is a great messaging hub, it has the basic SMS and MMS support. It can send Email and has Instant Messaging.
In terms of music experience, the HTC Hero can provide you with good features, good enough for a casual user that is, not much for music sensitive people. Not as good as music focused phones but just enough to satisfy you music loving ear. It's pretty loud but a little tinny. The Music Player can play MP3, MIDI, AAC, AMR, WAV, AAC and Windows Media 9 formats.
The HTC Hero has 288 Mbytes RAM, 512 Mbytes ROM plus MicroSD Memory Card, this is basically what you only need when you just want a phone to use on a casual basis. The memory is pretty big for a mobilephone, I mean the RAM. It makes applications easier to load and better when running.
The HTC Hero also runs on Android OS, which basically means that it tops on Social Network applications easily executing them without lag and delay especially Google Applications.
When connecting to the Internet, you're gonna have a blast when browsing as it has 3G HSDPA, HSCSD, Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE technologies. All of which allows fast data rate transfers which makes your Internet browsing smooth and web pages loads in a snap.
Transferring files from/to your PC? You can use its Bluetooth or USB connectivity to easily transfer files from this phone.
If you're always traveling to different places, on tour or on a business trip. You will definitely find the HTC Hero useful because of its GPS Navigation.
Over all the HTC is a great phone to have. It's equipped with features that can do pretty much all around tasks. Its quite new but you can still find cheap monthly HTC Hero offers or free line rental deals that offers good discounts.

Nokia 2330 Classic
Stylish phones aren't actually the best phones to have on a daily basis. They get scratched easily and sometimes it's too risky carrying them anywhere besides in a restaurant. Although they serve the purpose really well being an eye candy... it's not just worth buying especially if it can't stay on for even just a day!
However, low cost mobilephones aren't also any better. They lack certain features that might be handy, but that depends on what type of user however. Most low cost mobilephones have good battery power and provides basic functionalities, perfect for people who are always on the go and doesn't have much reliance on high end features/functionalities. You can also find a lot of free mobilephone contract deals on the Internet which gives more discounts and a lot of savings!
Anyway, this here's a pretty good mobilephone. It is the Nokia 2330 Classic. Doesn't cost much and does basic functionalities. It also looks good, clean and simple. There are also a number of cheap Nokia 2330 Classic mobilephone cashback offers on the net.
Anyway, here are the details for this simple and useful phone.
Design:
The Nokia 2330 Classic is attractive. The casing is a durable silver plastic and only weighs 9 grams, feels solid and tough. The phone has a 107 x 46 x 13.8 mm overall size, it's a solid bar phone and the depth of the sides are shaped in smooth curved edges making it more easy to hold.
The phone has a good sized 1.8 inch 65k TFT color screen in 128 x 160 pixels. It's pretty big and it displays clear images, it isn't really for watching videos though... it's just for looking at pictures and messages. Below the screen are its ergonomic keypads. Nokia keypads along with its user interface is very intuitive and isn't hard to get used to for new users. The keypads are excellent and it is easy to text or dial with it. They are well placed and looks sturdy making it easy to get along with it.
Communication:
Calling and messaging capabilities of the Nokia 2330 Classic is of course good. It has a Dual Band frequency allowing good signals with-in network coverage but isn't so good in between countries. These are GSM 90 and GSM 1800. Unfortunately it's a non-3G phone, so Video Calling feature is out of discussion. Messaging is also good in this phone, it has the basic SMS and MMS support. It also has the predictive text functionality that speed texters love.
Entertainment:
In terms of music experience, the Nokia 2330 Classic is surprisingly good. Nothing like theXpressMusic types but just enough to satisfy you music loving ear. The music player plays pretty loud and emits good quality sound. It's got an FM Radio which is really nice, this is a feature that shouldn't be left out on a music phone which sometimes doesn't have. It doesn't have a Music Player though, but in my opinion the FM Radio is good enough. It's also not significant if it does have one as it won't be very useful because it only has 36 Mbytes Memory and doesn't support any kind of memory card. The memory isn't needed at all because for your visual needs, it has Video Streaming. Nice isn't it?
Internet:
Talking about Video Streaming, you would be pleased to know that the Nokia 2330 Classic has a fast data rate transfer technologies. Namely, GPRS and EDGE. Given these fast technologies, you can send Emails fast. You can also send Emails with attachments. It also has HTML Browser.
Connectivity:
And if you want to connect to other devices, you can use its USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
It only has a VGA quality camera, clearly tells you that it isn't made for taking pictures. Although its not made for taking photos, it has features that will help camera get better results. Its got Auto White Balance, its not enough to replace a Flash though in which it lacks. It has 4x Video Zoom for recording... and that's all.

The Sleek Slider Navigator - Nokia 6710 Navigator

Do you like traveling, go out a lot or frequently on a business trip? If so then you'd be best carrying a navigator mobilephone. A navigator will help you a lot especially when you're not familiar with the place. It provides maps or GPS which will make locating very easy and saves you the trouble of asking people for directions.
If you're searching for a good navigator, I suggest you take the new Nokia 6710 Navigator. Its got all you need on a navigator. GPS, Nokia Maps, AGPS... you name it! Not only that, its also complete with the latest features on all around usability! From the camera to the battery... it sounds too good to be true but specs wise, it does have the potential of an awesome navigator-multimedia-camera phone. Take a look at the details and maybe you'll like it.
Design:
The Nokia 6710 Navigator is a stylish touchscreen phone that is available in titanium coloured casing and chestnut brown coloured casing. The 6710 Navigator is a small phone, pretty small for what it packs inside! It is only 104.8 x 50.1 x 14.9 mm and weighs pretty heavy in 117 grams. It's easy to keep since it has a slider form. As with most 3G Nokia phones, the Nokia 6710 Navigator also has a clear and bright screen worthy of a brag. It is 2.6 inches big and it has 16 Million colors and displays 320 x 240 pixels resolution. Colors are vibrant and displays images really well.
You'll love the keypads, its a Nokia standard after all. It is ergonomic allowing you to easily input your messages in a fast efficient way. The slider mechanism is snappy don't sound “cheap”. This phone definitely looks more elegant in titanium colour in which I prefer.
Communication:
The Nokia 6710 is a Navigator made by Nokia, what can you expect other than greatness? When calling, the G1 utilizes GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 and HSDPA 2100. Having more than one frequency in one device is useful to enable roaming between different countries that peg the allowed transmission frequency at different values or to allow a better coverage in the same country. This basically means that you will have good connection when calling anywhere in the world and if you're inside a good coverage you can easily enjoy an uninterrupted calls.
Connectivity:
Its got GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA, HSCSD and WLAN WiFi enabling the phone to have fast data rate transfers which has a download speed of that of broadband connection! The 3G HSDPA is a big plus as it will make your video calls much smoother and faster.
If you want to connect to other devices, you can use its Mini USB or Bluetooth connectivity. This makes file transfers easy, fast, convenient and efficient.
Messaging:
The Nokia 6710 Navigator provides great messaging capability. It has SMS (Text Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging) support. You can also send Emails with Attachments. It's got a built-in compatibility with Gmail making it load faster. You can send Instant messages too using Google Talk.
Camera:
The Nokia 6710 Navigator isn't exactly a phone made for taking pictures but its got pretty good features and even more than good enough to do the job. It has a 5 Megapixel camera and its a Carl Zeiss Optics, the pictures taken are clear and detailed. You can easily point-and-shoot as it has an Auto Focus functionality and a convenient Camera Key on the side. It has a 20x Digital Zoom in which if needed to manually focus or zoom more on the target. It also has a Dual LED Flash, powerful enough to light up your pictures even on dark places or against the sun. In addition to the Flash, its got a Flash mode in which you can choose to put it on Automatic, Off, Forced or on Red Eye Reduction mode. The Flash is pretty powerful and can cover about 1.5 metre range. More additions to its Camera features are White Balance Modes (Auto, Sunny, Cloudy, Incandescent & Fluorescent) and Capture Mode (Still, Video & Sequence). You can also turn the phone to its side so you can view it on Landscape Mode allowing efficient and comfortable position likes its a true digital camera.
The Video Recording capability of the Nokia 6710 Navigator is also nice. It has 10x Video Zoom and you can record videos as long as 1 hour plus its got a Video Editor in which you can readily use.
Multimedia:
If you want something to take your mind of things, the Nokia 6710 Navigator can provide you with good entertainment. The music player plays pretty loud and the sound quality is pretty good too. The music player can play MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+ formats. It also has an FM Radio RDS and its in Stereo too. What more is that you can easily plug those 3.5mm Nokia AV Connector which are pretty cheap in case it breaks, not that it easily gets broken though. You can also watch MPEG4, H263 and H264 videos as well as Streaming Videos. And if you want interactive fun, you can play Java games or Bounce II, Brain Genius or 3D Games. It also has N Gage Application which is awesome, if you know what I mean.
Special features:
The Nokia 6710 Navigator uses Symbian 9.3 Operating System, be assured that it is the latest S60 Release 3.2 Software which has a lot of bug fixes, meaning you won't see as much as errors or restarts as the older verions and its pretty reliable now too. And since its a Navigator, its only natural for it to have AGPS Navigation and Nokia Maps 3.0 (Drive, Walk & Traffic).
Well, that's that. You now know that the Nokia 6710 Navigator is an awesome phone to have and even worth investing. If you're thinking of buying this phone, its better you get it in free Vodafone monthly contract line rental for good savings. Or better yet go to a trusted mobilephone website and compare cheap Nokia 6710 Navigator package deals and find out which deal is best for your budget.

LG KT770 - Good Looks And Smarphone-like Features
Probably out of all mobilephone companies, LG has made it on top of the sales time and time again by making sleek designs for their phones. This started boom on their LG Chocolate, it wasn't such a high feature phone but it certainly sells a lot just for its looks!
LG is also known for creating sleek touchscreen phones and like the LG Chocolate, it sells a lot for its looks and trendy touchscreen functionality. But you gotta give it to them, they are the best when it comes to designs. Just look at the LG Prada or the LG Secret or just even the LG Shine! They certainly aren't superior when it comes to features but they certainly are superior when it comes to designs! ...to me that is.
Anyway, speaking of sleek designs. Here's a new good looker from LG, the KT770. Its a 3G slider phone which promises good functionality and features. The official price isn't out yet (as of date, UK) but be assured that there will be lots of free LG KT770 mobilephone contract deals emerging when this phone finally comes out in the market. You can also check for free T-mobile line rental cashback deals that are all over the net, you get this phone for free along with those juicy deals!
Here are some details of this sleek mobilephone
Design:
The LG KT770 is a good looker, no doubt about that. It is a slider phone, looks clean and simple. It has a 111 x 51.5 x 15 mm size. It feels solid and easy to hold. The slider mechanism is snappy and doesn't give you that “cheap” clunky sound like some slider form phones have. The navigation buttons borrow the same sleek look as that of the LG KG800 Chocolate which are... touch sensitive buttons, with glowing colors of course.
The phone has a bright 262k QVGA color screen in 240 x 400 pixels resolution. It's big and it displays clear images. The screen is pretty long and its very useful when you turn it on its side when browsing. Watching videos or just viewing pictures is great. Just below the large screen is the keypads. The keypads is ergonomic and easy to press. They are nicely spaced and won't be hard for users who have big thumbs or fingers. The joystick is just great and response is good when you use it.
Camera:
The LG KT770 has a nice camera quality, it is a 5 Megapixel Camera which also comes with Auto Focus, LED Flash and additional functionalities to complement the good camera. They are Geo Tagging, Face and Smile Detection. The LG KT770 is a 3G sliderphone which of course has a second VGA camera on the front for 3G Video Calls.
Multimedia:
Multimedia is hopefully good with the LG KT770 however, there aren't any fixed details about its multimedia capability as of now.
Calling and messaging:
Although multimedia isn't specified, the calling and messaging of the KT770 is just great. It supports Quad Band Technology using GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900 and HSDPA 2100.
It has the all the basic messaging capability a phone should have. It can do SMS (Text Messaging), EMS (Enhanced Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging). It also has a predictive text functionality which is most preferred by busy texters.
Internet:
And if you're on Internet browsing, this phone is also good at it. It has GPRS and WLAN Wi-Fi which allows fast data rate transfers making Internet browsing a breeze. The WiFi is great as it is commonly used and is free on Internet cafes. You can browse the Internet using its pre-installed WAP Browser
)XHTML and HTML ).
Memory:
If you like taking pictures or watching videos, you can store up to 120MB of files but if you want more than that, you can have to as much as 16GB using its MicroSD memory card support.
Special features:
The LG KT770 is somewhat like smartphone, unusual for the KT series to have but great to have nonetheless. It has A GPS navigation which is good for people who like to go to places. It also has Document Viewer supporting Microsoft files such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint also PDF.
LG is also known for creating sleek touchscreen phones and like the LG Chocolate, it sells a lot for its looks and trendy touchscreen functionality.
