HTC Magic - Fast And Efficient Touch Screen

There’s nothing more reassuring than a fixed and well planned out schedule. Nothing should be missed. You got your gear with you and of course a phone for communication. This could be for any situation, may it be for a meeting or for a trek in the mountains. One thing should always be present, a mobile phone. You never really know what will happen. It’s best assured you’ve got one.

Now, if you’re a busy person it’s always an advantage if you’ve got the best mobile phone in your pocket. Mobile phones today are capable of complex applications that will be able to help you in your daily tasks. It’s even more useful if you’re an Internet Entrepreneur. You’d always want to check your accounts for new mails or updates.

So what’s the best mobile phone for Internet browsing or even Social Networking? I recommend the HTC Magic.

This phone has access to Social Networks like Youtube, Facebook or Twitter and it’s very easy too. It already has a shortcut and is pre-made for it. It runs on Android OS after all. It’s an OS supported by Google themselves. This easily runs Google Applications and has a GPS Navigation backed up with Google Maps, very useful if you’re traveling to different places. It’s best to know where you are or where you’re going.

Aside from the Google features, the HTC Magic is also a great phone for multimedia, games and of course calling and messaging. Let’s take a look at what the HTC Magic has to offer.

Design

The HTC Magic is a simple looking phone having a big touch screen and slightly dented lower portion for easy handling, an HTC trademark design. It's got a 113 x 55 x 13.65 mm size and weighs only 118.5 grams! Very easy to carry and keep. There aren't many details on the cover making it look plain and simple. However simple it maybe, it doesn't look ugly at all and it looks clean and professional. It's got a high quality screen for your viewing pleasure. It is 3.2 inches big and is a 65k Colour HVGA TFT LCD Touch Screen 320 x 480 pixels resolution. With this kind of screen, you’re going to enjoy watching videos or even just browsing around is a treat.

I really like its design. It’s simple and very easy to hold and the touch screen is just brilliant. It’s very responsive and a joy to use.

Communication

Calling with the HTC Magic is very convenient and efficient; it’s what the HTC Magic does best. It has Quad Band frequency, utilizing GSM 850, GSM 900, GMS 1800 and GSM 1900 frequencies to get good signals even when traveling. Having more than one frequency in one device is useful to enable roaming between different countries that peg the allowed transmission frequency at different values or to allow a better coverage in the same country. This basically means that you will have good connection when calling anywhere in the world and if you're inside a good coverage you can easily enjoy an uninterrupted call.

Messaging

The HTC Magic has support on SMS (Text Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging). It also has Email and you can readily use Gmail and Google Mail, it’s Google made after all.

Multimedia

Although the HTC Magic isn’t a multimedia focused phone, it has features that are enough to give you a great time. It has a nice Music Player, good performance in amplifying it making good quality audio. The music player is compatible with most music files used today like MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, AAC+, AMR NB, MIDI and OGG. You'd probably like to have this phone as your music player as it efficiently sorts and stores your downloaded songs. You can also easily hook up a Wireless headset as it has Bluetooth A2DP support.

Camera

While the HTC Magic has a 3.2 Megapixel Camera, it’s not as good as you think it is. It still lacks auto focus and a flash.

Video recording with the HTC Magic however is good. But don’t get me wrong, it’s not the greatest quality but the good thing is that you can easily and readily upload it on Youtube.

Memory

Well, there really isn’t much use of its memory if you can’t enjoy its multimedia features. I mean, what’s the point of a large memory if you’re not going to use it as an iPod or a Video Player. Anyway, the HTC Magic has 512 Mbytes ROM, 192 Mbytes RAM plus MicroSD Memory Card which can be upgraded up to 2GB.

The high ROM ensures that applications are easily loaded and doesn’t lag or anything undesirable. However, the RAM is only 192MB which means you can only install applications as much as that.

Battery

The HTC Magic has an average battery life. It can stay up as much as 7.5 Hours GSM Talk Time or 420 Hours GSM Standby Time.

The HTC Magic is a good phone whether you're a busy user or not. You can easily grab one with the best mobile phone cashback line rental deal or get it with a free Vodafone line rental contract offer. It's a cheaper deal compared to the ones on the high streets.
