Motorola Dext MB220 Review

Looks are not everything, and the new Motorola Dext MB220 certainly proves that. In the midst of its rather plain appearance (available in Midnight Titanium and Winter White), this Android smartphone, named CLIQ in the US, is indeed pretty smart and does have plenty of great features to be proud of.

Never mind the unattractive casing, the rounded edge, and the fact that it’s rather big and bulky at 163g; begin a totally wonderful experience instead by sliding out the ultra-powerful and ultra-responsive QWERTY keyboard. Greeting you is a 3.1 inch TFT touchscreen display, large enough to make you appreciate images in 320 x 480 pixels and 256 colors. Some touchscreen phones come as a big disappointment, but not Dext. Sensitive and responsive, the phone does not require you to press your fingers hard several times on the screen just to get it to respond.

You will find the 5-way navigational key convenient to use and the accelerometer sensor very practical for rotating pictures. This smartphone also sports the MOTORBLUR User Interface with Live Widgets.

Have a different ringtone everyday – there are lots of options available. You can select to download polyphonic ringtones or those in MP3 or AAC formats. If you do not want to be disturbed during meetings, simply put the phone on vibration mode.

The phone conveniently comes with a speakerphone and microphone for hands-free calling, and a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use your own choice of headset and not have to deal with the one that comes with the package. The phone does not have a radio, though, but that’s okay since you’ll be able to download MP3s, anyway.

If you want to save some cash, you might as well get the best Motorola Dext MB220 offer or even cheap iPhone deals on the net. You can also check for mobilephone specs and their prices or just get a mobilephone monthly contract deal.
