LG is known for introducing mobile phones that are fashionable and have high class features. The LG Viewty KU990 is no exception. The Viewty is a prominent member of the LG family and strongly resembles the LG Prada. Originally the Viewty was quite expensive, but now it is priced as a mid-range mobile phone and is well worth the money.
The Viewty is stylish and sleek and is available in black, silver, purple and pink. The device is very easy to handle, weighing only 112 grams and measuring 103.5 x 54.4 x 14.8 mm. This phone offers a large 3.0 inch TFT touch screen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. And supports 256K colors, great for viewing images, watching movies and playing mobile phone games.
The Viewty has a touch sensitive screen with a great user interface. However, if you are a user that types fast, you might find that the touch screen slows you down a bit. A stylus is provided if you find the interface too slow by using your finger. There is also T9 predictive text and handwriting recognition, so you will no doubt find an input method that you are happy with.
The media player is easy to use and can handle virtually all audio and video formats, like MP3, MPEG4, WMV, AAC and DivX. There is even an FM radio. Stereo headphones come in the box and you can use optional stereo or mono Bluetooth headphones if you like. The user can listen to music for hours. This is one of the best devices on the market for music lovers.
When you're saving money and buy a touchscreen, you might as well get the iPhone 3GS with a deal on the net, a better option than the KU990 on the high streets.
